I guess we'll just have to find out in June. Maybe not at WWDC, but who says there won't be a hardware announcement at some point immediately following WWDC? Either way, I'm fine with my iP4....that is until iP5 is available :D

And who used Shake that its loss makes an impact? Apple could cut Motion and I don't think many would care.
Shake was used for a lot of feature films by a lot of the big studios.
Nuke's now pretty much cleaned up in that space, as pretty much all the big studios (ILM, Weta, Sony, DD, Animal Logic, Cinesite, Image Engine, DNeg, Framestore, MPC, The Mill) have moved over to Nuke.
The problem with "really" pro apps like Nuke/Shake (and to a smaller extent FCP) is that they are used in part of a pipeline. The customer knows what they want, and they want flexibility, customisability, programmability, and they want software to work the way they do.
Apple doesn't really work like that - with the Pro apps they're slightly different, but in general their attitude is "this is what you need, do it this way. It'll be released soon and it will be awesome."

Except that the question "male to male sex" is discriminatory. It doesn't ask you "received anal sex", it asks you about your sexual orientation. Plain and simple, discriminatory and non-scientific because male-to-female sex has the exact same risks.
It's not. Risky male to female sex is also excluded (sleeping with anyone involved in the sex industry). It's a question of exposure to mixing blood, and thus communicating disease. Statistically, Male to Male sex increases that risk. Also, if it was a homophobic policy female to female sex would be deemed a risk factor, but it's not, as it does not carry elevated risk. And to clarify, I'm not saying elevated means high - I'm saying it means higher.

You dont understand how OS version works? The newest version runs ALL software for the OS. Android 2.3 does exactly that. Of course an app written for 2.3 wont run on 1.6. Thats just common sense.

I'll probably get one, I'm so sick of my dumb phone and tired of seeing the wife with her iP4. It'll just put me in line for the iP6 upgrade path, don't know if I would even use the extra HP with the iP5. Plus, I would think you would be able to sell a genuine white iP4 on ebay and get a good chunk.

This is my first post. It takes a lot for me to stop being a lurker, but the idea that any user can resize a textarea on a site I design, dynamically redrawing the page, is among the dumbest ideas I've ever heard. This will break valid page layouts in new and unheard of ways. Designers make form elements a size and shape for a reason.
I look forward to finding a way using JavaScript to disable that feature the day that browser is released.
Well, ya. Dontca hate text zoom? Hey, I design too and as long as it looks right at default settins + a text size or two higher I'm fine. If people need to resize forms or make their text huge then they're probably used to every site looking like utter junk. These are not the power users I'm designing for.

No. You should upgrade to 10.5 anyway since you use it as a file server and 10.5 has much better local networking capability and a built in VNC client to remotely control it from your other Macs.
For your needs 10.5 makes a lot of sense.
